Never starve yourself, especially before going out to eat ( or you will bindge). Never skip meals, you must have some kind od nourishment regularly or your body's starvation defenses will kick in, lower your metabolism, and store fat. Use nutritional meal replacements instead of skipping or eating very low calorie meals.
Do you have a sweet tooth?
Try to work a lot of fruit into your diet to satisfy it. Try tropical fruits, like mangos, and unsweetend versions of dried fruits, like raisins, and dried pineapple.
I have a sweet tooth and often crave chocolate. I discovered a life saver(for me anyway), Slimfast energy bars....they taste like Baby Ruth candy bars (only nutless)....they help substain your energy level and they are only 4 grams of fat. "Sarah" ACsrainbow@aol.com

How much fat is okay?
Nutritionist recommend that no more than 30% of calories should come from fat. Wondering what that means in practical terms?
If you have 3g of fat and 100 calories thats 27% fat.If you had 2g of fat and 100 calories thats 18% fat. If your trying to stay within the 30% range, try to eat foods that average about 3g of fat for every 100 calories. If you want 20% fat, try for foods that average about 2g of fat for every 100 calories. Remember that your body needs fat to funtion. Don't go below those levels without consulting an expert.Articale from lowfat living..Paulette
